// ABOUT NATALIA
Natalia develops her artistic creation with her collective Poetic Punkers, founded in Brussels in 2013, after severals years of European professional experience (La Fura Del Baus, Thierry Verger, Trance en Dance, Balletto Civile, Gabriella Maiorino…). Since 2011 she gives workshop of floorwork and contemporary dance (Codarts Rotterdam, ERD Micadanses and Rdv Parisienne Paris, Talk Project Belgium, Accademia Teatro Dimitri Verscio, Korper and Art Garage Naples …). She currently works as an interpreter with Balletto Civile and C&C Company. Since 2017 her work is supported by Les Choses qui font Boom (French Production). // ABOUT THE SESSION
Natalia is an eclectic performer. She mixes the power of breakdance with the fluidity of contemporary dance and engages in collaborations with artists from varying disciplines. We will use the ground to develop physical sequences. Hand standing, spinning, sliding, falling… these are some elements that we’ll use to take some risks and to arrive in a power fragility of the body. We will try to combine the virtuosity of break dance with the fluidity of contemporary dance language to reveal a poetics of multidimensional body. The objective of the class is to develop a “technical but not formal” approach of movement wich the keywords are, focus, concentration, adaptable center, transformations, body’s musicality, presence and interpretation.
